Optical Solutions Australia (OSA) is a supplier of solutions to the fibre optic industry. At OSA we specialise in providing an extensive range of fibre optic products selected from leading suppliers or engineered and manufactured by ourselves to meet our customers requirements. Because fibre optics is our only focus, we have built a team of highly skilled professionals whom with many years of engineering and industry knowledge are capable of tackling any hurdle that may be encountered in the fast expanding technology of fibre optics. These range from high quality engineered optical interconnect systems (built in our local manufacturing facility), optical test & installation equipment from leading world brands, speciality cables & fibres, fibre optic security systems, fibre based CCTV systems, optical Data links & modems, optical LANs, Broadband long haul optical transmission equipment. We piece together the puzzle and provide the best possible mix of product for the complete end- end solution. Although we offer a standard range we can also engineer to our clients needs. These could include custom fibre interconnections ranging from high density enclosures to systems built to endure hazardous or environmental situations suited to Military or industrial applications. Manufacturing & Engineering Capabilities At our manufacturing facility we have achieved the highest levels of quality with multiple certifications and a diversification of product backed up by expertise unmatched in our region. From standard simplex assemblies through to multi fibre backbone pre- terminated cables we can support all connector formats. These include new generation SSF connectors like MTRJ, LC, MU as well as ribbon based MTP & MPO. It does not end there, we also supply POF (Plastic Optical fibre), Mode conditioning & Polarisation assemblies .To match the quality of our optical assemblies and provide complete functionality we also engineer a range of enclosures systems to meet a wide range of applications. From simple LAN connectivity through to complex high density cross connects OSA can supply off shelf solutions or modify them to suit the application. Our technical staff can also provide answers to Military type applications requiring the use of Tactical hardened connectivity using EB connectors and resilient cables. Our technical team can provide schematics of systems and assemblies prior to going to floor production to assure quality and guarantee specifications. Technical Services and Support Our range of product & knowledge allows us to provide & develop complex fibre optic communication systems from simple optical converted data links to long haul high bandwidth connections. We structure optical transmission equipment along side our knowledge of fibre connectivity to give our clients a complete solution from end to end. At OSA we can provide application information and engineering services when required and maintain full support on all our products. We also supply the tools and equipment to carry out the task of fibre installation such as fusion splicing machines, cleavers, cable prep tooling & cleaning. When it comes to testing we can provide Loss testing gear, OTDR's, OSA's as wells as chromatic & polarisation dispersion measurement equipment with proven experience and knowledge. Even if you Network is complete we can assist by showing you how to keep it going and monitor its physical or data based state with advanced Optical monitoring equipment. Above all else we make sure our clients become as experienced as us by providing training courses and technical support on all our equipment aswell as just keeping in touch to make sure all runs smoothly.
